For over 20 years, Mr. Magdovitz engaged in the buying, selling, construction, and leasing of facilities used by the United States Postal Service. Currently, Mr. Magdovitz owns a controlling interest in entities owning over 400 postal facilities in more than 30 states across the nation making him the second largest single owner of facilities used by the
United States Postal Service, the largest being the United States Postal
Service itself.
Born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Lawrence Magdovitz bought his first
piece of rental real estate when he was just 16 years old. He attended
Clarksdale High School and went on to graduate from Vanderbilt University
and Vanderbilt University, School of Law. He returned to his hometown and
began a law practice that would span a period of over 40 years. From his
first real estate purchase at age 16, he has steadfastly invested in real
estate of all types and he continues that endeavor into the new millenium.
Mr. Magdovitz is the father of two children, Bethe Ann Magdovitz and
Lawrence M. Magdovitz, II. Miss Magdovitz is the Technical Director of The
Magdovitz Group and operates Magdovitz.com. The younger Magdovitz is
General Counsel to The Magdovitz Group.
